Dental Care

The dental plan covers 80% of eligible services, up to an overall maximum of $750 per student year, based on the Alberta Suggested Fee Guide:

• Diagnostic — exams (incl. recall every 6 months), X-rays
• Preventive — polishing, scaling, oral hygiene instruction
• Restorative — fillings
• Endodontic — root canals, pulpotomy
• Periodontic — root planing, management of oral disease
• Oral surgery — tooth and root removal
• Major restorative — crowns, pins, posts, bridges
• Denture maintenance — repair, reline, rebase
• Anesthesia — when required for a covered procedure
